Mum = Deaconess

Deacon/Deaconess: a person elected by a church to serve in worship, in pastoral care, and on administrative committees.
My parents go to a Korean Church.
Mum (white and red Korean dress) called me one day and told me that she was going to be inducted as a deaconess.
I knew they were very much a part of the community there.
I didn't quite realise just how much they are an integral part of that community.
Church members, friends, and family gathered.
To love and honour.
Mum.
Finished with a sweet Korean feast.

Youth Awards 2012

The last big bash.

We came together to celebrate a great year with our youth.

I love these guys.

Even the ones that do things that makes you wonder what they were thinking when they did it.

Providing an environment where they can be themselves and just have fun is not an easy task, but man is it satisfying. 

To see these young ones become alive in who they are is a sight to behold.

This night was a night to remember, to recognise, to cheer, and to eat lots of yum food.
