Awaken Youth

So I have a lot to do with these people you see below.

They are a part of Awaken Youth.

A youth group with amazing young people and incredible leaders.

We all went to Easter Camp.

It was mean.

Over the summer break me and my good friend Aaron went to serve a community in need.

We flew halfway around the world to a little country called Burundi.

We met Sarah.

Beautiful right?

She is one of the many 'walking miracles' that we had the privilege of becoming family with.

I call them 'walking miracles' because if you didn't know their stories before coming to the orphanage, you would never know they'd been through the most horrific life circumstances you could ever imagine.

These kids have epic futures ahead of them and we plan on going back to cheer them on to pursue their dreams.

Enjoy this moment of life in Burundi.

A bit of background.

This is me.

I've decided to pursue what I can't escape anymore...photography.

It's how I vent my imagination...the way I see life.

This is my first crack at this and I have no idea how to do it.
